Wilmington, Deleware 19850-7019You made inquiries to my Trans Union credit file on 9/1/2001, 12/1/2001, 3/1/2002 and 5/1/2002 Those exist in the files's Account Review Inquiry Section; it has this description:
THE COMPANIES LISTED BELOW OBTAINED INFORMATION FROM YOUR CONSUMER REPORT FOR THE PURPOSE OF AN ACCOUNT REVIEW OR OTHER BUSINESS TRANSACTION WITH YOU. THESE INQUIRIES ARE NOT DISPLAYED TO ANYONE BUT YOU AND WILL NOT AFFECT ANY OTHER CREDITOR'S DECISION OR ANY SCORE.This is the file's description of the Regular Inquiry Section:THE FOLLOWING COMPANIES HAVE RECEIVED YOUR CREDIT RKEPORT. THEIR INQUIRIES REMAIN ON YOUR CREDIT REPORT FOR TWO YEARS. (NOTE: TU CONSUMER DISCLOSURE INQUIRIES ARE NOT VIEWED BY CREDITORS.)In that section appears an inquiry for NOVUS SERVICES, INC on 1/24/2001 and one for DISCOVER CARD on 1/23/2001.Remove those two inquiries and explain what steps you will take to ensure that will not happen again. I made no request for credit with you on those dates, and my credit score Factor Description states, 'TOO MANY INQUIRIES... LIMITING THE NUMBER OF CREDIT APPLICATIONS YOU COMPLETE MAY IMPROVE YOUR CREDIT SCORE."
If you refuse to comply with this order, then, apparently, you believe that you have the authority to access my credit file creating notations seen by lenders and other users of my file-- and affecting my credit score-- whenever and as many times as you wish. If you refuse to remove them, then how many more of those inquiries will you make in the next 12 months? How many in the next 24?
