Thank you for your recent response to my letter of July 16, 2002.

As stated in my previous response to your concerns regarding inquiries on your credit bureau, our policy has not changed. The Doscover Cardmember Agreement contains the terms and conditions of your Discover Card account. You agreed to those terms and conditions when you opened your Discover Card account in April 1996, and every time you use your account. We are authorized by that agreement to check your credit history in the course of extending credit and doing business with you. It states, "We may from time to time review your credit, employment, and income records."
