[Fisher's name and address]

Dear [Fisher]:

Thank you for your recent response to my letter to you dated September 26, 2002. Please allow me to elaborate on my correspondence to you.

As I previously stated, we are authorized by the Discover Card Cardmember Agreement to check your credit history in the course of extending credit and doing business with you. It states, "We may from time to time review your credit, employment, and income records." Please refer to the enclosed Cardmember Agreement. I have highlighted the pertinent information relating to credit bureau inquiries.

All the credit bureau inquiris, other that [sic] the one in April 1996, made to your credit buearu file by DiscoverFinancial Services, Inc., were of the type not viewable by other creditors.

The credit bureau inquiry from April 1996, was done as a result of your application for a Discover® Card account. The other inquires [sic] were as a result of our review of your account, or based on our need to collect on your account, both of which are permissible purposes. I have enclosed a copy of your application for your review.

Pleaser refer to the credit bureau reporting agency for further information regarding the different types of inquires [sic] on your file, and how they might affect your credit score.

If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me directly at (302) 328-3300 ext. 2571, Monday through Thursday, 10:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., EST.

Sincerely,
