Per our conversation, I have confirmed that you contacted our Corporate Office on January 23, 2001, in regards to the credit line on your Discover® Platinum Card account. You gave your verbal permission for the representative to view your credit bureau report in an effort to determine that the credit line on your account was reporting accurately. This type of inquiry would show under the Regular Inquiry Section of your credit bureau report, and would therefore be viewable by credit grantors. As this is a valid inquiry, we are unable to request its removal from the credit bureau.
