Item #1. Credit report Equifax gave to the consumer dated September 21, 2005 on which Equifax did not disclose the consumer's telephone number (nor any indication that a telephone number could be part of a file).
Item #2. Credit report obtained from a car dealer dated October 28, 2005. Equifax gave the car dealer the consumer's telephone numbers it had on file.
Item #3. Credit report Equifax gave to the consumer dated one day later, October 29, 2005, on which Equifax disclosed no consumer telephone number (nor any indication that a consumer's telephone number could be part of a file).
CONCLUSION: Equifax did not provide all of the information in the consumer's file, which is required by the federal law (The Fair Credit Reporting Act). In other words, Equifax broke the law.
